Main Characters.




  • Mr. Poppy: Portrayed by Simon Lipkin (2017 UK tour & London), Scott Paige (2019 UK tour), and Ben Lancaster (2022 Birmingham revival).

  • Mr. Paul Maddens: Played by Daniel Boys (2017), Scott Garnham (2018-2019), and Billy Roberts (2022).

  • Jennifer Lore: Performed by Sarah Earnshaw (2017), Ashleigh Gray (2018-2019), and Daisy Steere (2022).

  • Gordon Shakespeare: Brought to life by Andy Brady (2017), Charles Brunton (2018), and Matthew Rowland (2022).

  • Mrs. Bevan: Played by Jemma Churchill in 2017, Penelope Woodman (2018), and Jemma Churchill reprising the role in 2022.

The role of the Hollywood Producer was a standout feature, often attracting celebrity guest stars during various tours:
